Turning a passion into a job can be life-changing! You still have to work hard at your craft but the enjoyment you get out of each working day is immense.

I’ve worked in publishing for over 20 years and I find the industry stimulating but the pandemic gave me my first true taste of what it could be like to work for myself, doing more of the things I really love to do, such as creating awesome web copy, helping businesses enhance their online presence, and polishing existing text to make it really shine!

Publishing has taught me how to craft copy for a variety of purposes and audiences and I’ve always enjoyed using these skills to help friends in their business endeavours and passion projects – not for money, just for love. Now, I’m working on turning my passion for helping others with their businesses into my job! And I can’t tell you how excited that makes me! Also terrified. But mostly excited.
